Universe LED Pendant Light - Bronze

The Universe is a 60cm-diameter pendant light built from two intersecting bronze-finished metal rings that orbit a central opal glass globe. An integrated 12W 3000K LED sits inside the globe and casts warm white light through the diffusing glass, while the rings themselves catch and reflect the glow across their flat brushed faces. The fitting hangs from multiple thin suspension cables anchored to a single ceiling point.

At 60cm wide and 24cm deep, the Universe is sized for open-plan living rooms, double-height entrance halls, dining areas above a generous table, and stairwell voids where the sculptural form can be appreciated from more than one angle. The cables allow the drop to be set on installation, so the pendant can sit low above a dining table or higher as a ceiling feature in a tall room. A standard ceiling rose conceals the driver and connection point.

The metal rings are cut from flat sheet stock and finished in a warm bronze tone with a low-sheen brushed surface that softens reflections under both daylight and lamp light. The opal globe at the centre is the only visible light source, so the rings read as solid sculptural elements rather than illuminated tracks. The bronze pairs comfortably with warm-toned walnut and oak interiors, deeper plaster shades, and contemporary schemes that mix metal accents.

Does it come with a bulb?

Yes. The Universe uses an integrated 12W LED rated at 3000K (warm white), housed inside the central opal glass globe. The LED is built in and not user-replaceable as a standard bulb.

What ceiling height does it suit?

The pendant is 24cm deep and hangs on adjustable suspension cables, so the overall drop is set during installation. It works best in rooms with ceilings of 2.6m or higher, and suits stairwell voids and double-height spaces particularly well because the orbiting rings are visible from multiple angles.

Is the LED dimmable?

Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer module being used. Please contact us before pairing the Universe with a dimmer circuit so we can confirm whether your dimmer is compatible with the integrated driver.

How is it installed?

The Universe hangs from a single ceiling point via thin steel suspension cables that support the rings and globe. Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician, who will set the cable lengths to achieve the required drop and connect the driver to the mains via a standard ceiling rose.
