Universe LED Pendant Light - Matte White

The Universe is a 60cm LED pendant light built around two interwoven matte white metal rings that orbit a central opal glass globe. An integrated 12W LED inside the globe casts warm 3000K light outward, with the rings catching the light along their inner edges to give the fitting a sculptural, planetary form when illuminated.

Designed as a sculptural pendant for open-plan living areas, dining tables, stairwells and modern entrance halls, the Universe works best where it can be viewed in the round. The 24cm overall height and 60cm diameter give it a horizontal emphasis that suits rooms with ceiling heights of 2.6m and above. Suspension cables can be adjusted on installation to set the drop appropriate to the space.

The two rings are formed from sheet metal finished in low-sheen matte white, which softens reflections under daylight and keeps the focus on the form rather than the finish. The opal globe diffuses the LED evenly without hotspots, so the fitting reads as a glowing sphere set within two intersecting halos rather than a bright source behind metal. The all-white palette pairs cleanly with Scandinavian, contemporary and minimalist interiors.

Does the Universe come with the bulb?

Yes. The Universe uses an integrated 12W LED rated at 3000K warm white, so no separate bulb purchase is needed. The LED is built into the central section of the fitting.

What ceiling height does it suit?

The 60cm diameter and horizontal ring orientation work best in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.6m or above, where the form can be appreciated from below and from the side. Suspension cables are adjustable on installation to set the appropriate drop above a dining table or in an open-plan area.

Is it dimmable?

The integrated LED runs on standard 230V mains. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer model, so please contact us before pairing with a dimmer to confirm.

What colour temperature is the light?
