Description
The Valcera is a 690mm alabaster table lamp built around a vertical slab of natural Spanish alabaster, held between two slim black metal uprights that form an open frame around the stone. A black metal stem rises from the top of the alabaster panel and carries a rectangular white PVC shade with crisp tailored edges. The lamp uses a single E27 bulb (sold separately) housed inside the shade.
The lamp is sized for console tables, sideboards and bedside positions where a tall, architectural silhouette suits the proportions of the surface. With a 430mm length and 250mm width at the base, the Valcera occupies a moderate footprint while standing tall enough to throw light across a hallway console or behind a sofa. The E27 socket accepts standard LED, halogen or filament bulbs, allowing the colour temperature and brightness to be matched to the room.
The alabaster panel itself shows the mineral movement and tonal variation typical of natural Spanish stone, with veining and translucency that change between individual pieces. The matt black metal frame draws a hard graphic line around the softer stone, and the white shade above repeats the rectangular geometry of the alabaster below. The combination of stone, dark metal and pale fabric reads as a single composed object rather than three separate elements.

Frequently Asked
What bulb does the Valcera take?
The lamp uses a single E27 (Edison screw) bulb, sold separately. Most users pair the Valcera with a warm-white LED bulb between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K, which suits the soft tone of the alabaster and the white shade.
Does the alabaster glow when the lamp is on?
The main light output comes from the bulb inside the white shade, which casts ambient light upward and downward. The alabaster panel sits below the shade and the bulb, so it is lit indirectly rather than acting as the primary diffuser. Veining and tonal variation remain visible whether the lamp is on or off.
Will each lamp look identical?
No. The alabaster panel is cut from natural Spanish stone, so each piece has its own veining pattern, mineral movement and tonal range. This variation is a feature of the material, not a defect.
How is the alabaster cleaned?
Alabaster is porous and softer than marble. Wipe gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth, or a barely-damp cloth with distilled water for stubborn marks. Avoid household sprays, polishes or chemical cleaners, as these can stain or etch the stone.
