Valenro 24 Light Cylindrical Alabaster Linear Chandelier - Soft White & Brass

The Valenro is an 850mm linear pendant built around 24 cylindrical shades carved from natural Spanish alabaster, mounted along a horizontal brass bar in two staggered rows. The frame hangs from twin textured brass drop rods and a rectangular ceiling canopy. Each alabaster cylinder houses a G4 lamp socket, giving 24 individual points of warm light along the length of the fitting.

At 850mm long and 210mm wide, the Valenro suits longer dining tables, kitchen islands, hotel reception desks and conference tables where a single large pendant would feel underweight. The 300mm drop rods position the fitting around 460mm below the ceiling, so it works best with ceiling heights of 2.6m or above to keep the bar at the right height above a worktop or table surface.

Each alabaster cylinder shows its own veining and tonal variation, from soft clouded sections to denser mineral traces, so no two shades on the bar look identical when lit. The honed surface lets the internal structure of the stone stay visible, and the 24 G4 lamps create a continuous band of warm light filtered through the alabaster. The Soft White and Brass frame combines a pale lacquered finish on the horizontal bar with warmer brass tones on the textured suspension rods, balancing the weight of the stone above and below.

What bulbs does the Valenro take?

The fitting takes 24 x G4 capsule bulbs, one for each alabaster cylinder. G4 LED capsules in 1-2W 2700K-3000K are recommended to keep heat low against the stone and maintain a warm tone. Bulbs are sold separately.

What table or island length suits this pendant?

At 850mm long, the Valenro suits dining tables and kitchen islands of around 1.6m to 2.4m in length. As a general guide, the pendant should be roughly half to two-thirds the length of the surface below it, leaving balanced space at each end.

What ceiling height is needed?

The fitting has a 160mm body plus a 300mm rod, giving a total drop of around 460mm from the ceiling. Above a dining table or island, the bar typically sits 700-800mm above the surface, so ceiling heights of 2.6m or above give the best result. The rods can be shortened on installation for lower ceilings.

Does the alabaster vary between cylinders?

Yes. Each cylinder is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so veining, translucency and tonal variation differ across the 24 shades. This is a feature of the natural stone, and the variation is visible across the length of the fitting once lit.
