Valeris 12 Light Layered Alabaster Chandelier - Brass

The Valeris is a 600mm circular alabaster chandelier built around twelve G9 lamps concealed behind a continuous ring of natural Spanish alabaster panels. The panels are arranged in two staggered tiers, creating a stepped lower edge where rectangular stone sections overlap at varying heights. A brushed brass canopy and three slim suspension cables support the ring, keeping the visual weight on the stone rather than the metalwork.

At 140mm tall and 600mm in diameter, the Valeris suits dining tables, kitchen islands and entrance halls where a horizontal fitting works better than a tall pendant. The compact 140mm height makes it usable in rooms with ceiling heights from 2.4m upwards, and the suspension cables can be shortened on installation to set the chandelier 700-800mm above a dining surface. Twelve G9 capsule lamps (sold separately) distribute light evenly around the full circumference.

Each alabaster panel is cut from natural Spanish stone, so the veining, cloudy striations and tonal variation between ivory and warmer cream differ across the ring. Honed rather than polished, the surface lets light pass through the stone and pick up the mineral patterns rather than reflecting off it. The brushed brass canopy, brass fixing studs along the upper edge of each panel, and the brass inner frame give a warm metallic counterpoint to the soft white stone.

What bulbs does the Valeris take?

The chandelier uses twelve G9 capsule lamps, sold separately. Most buyers fit warm-white LED G9s between 2700K-3000K at 2-4W per lamp for a soft ambient glow that complements the alabaster.

Is it dimmable?

The fitting itself accepts dimmable G9 LED lamps if paired with a compatible dimmer switch. Compatibility depends on the dimmer model and the LED driver in the chosen bulb, so confirm both before installing on a dimmed circuit.

What ceiling height does it suit?

At 140mm tall, the Valeris is shallow enough for ceilings from 2.4m upwards. The suspension cables are adjusted on installation, allowing the chandelier to sit 700-800mm above a dining table or 800-900mm above a kitchen island depending on room height.

Will the alabaster panels look identical?

No. Each panel is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so veining, cloudiness and tonal shifts between ivory and warmer cream vary across the ring and between individual chandeliers. This natural variation is a feature of the stone, not a defect.
