Valmera LED Slim Vertical Alabaster Wall Light - Small Soft White

The Valmera Small is a 320mm slim vertical wall light cut from a single column of natural Spanish alabaster, supported by a solid copper internal structure. An integrated 5W LED runs the length of the column and casts warm 3000K light through the stone, turning the alabaster panel itself into the diffuser. The compact 80mm width and 80mm projection give the fitting a tight, architectural footprint on the wall.

Designed as decorative accent and ambient lighting rather than primary task light, the Valmera suits hallways, stairwells, bedside walls, and either side of a vanity, fireplace, or bathhead. The slim vertical proportion works particularly well in pairs flanking a doorway, mirror, or bed, and the 320mm height fits comfortably between picture rails and dado lines without dominating the wall plane. Hard-wired to 230V mains with no visible bulb or fitting once installed.

Each alabaster column shows different mineral veining, cloudy striations, and tonal shifts between ivory and pale grey, so no two Valmera lights look identical when lit. The squared-off rectangular profile with crisp edges contrasts with the soft organic veining inside the stone, giving the piece a disciplined silhouette that reads as contemporary rather than classical. The solid copper internals add weight and rigidity behind the lighter alabaster face.

Does the Valmera come with the bulb?

Yes. The light source is an integrated 5W LED rated at 3000K warm white, built into the fitting. There is no separate bulb to replace.

Is it suitable for bathrooms?

No IP rating is published for this fitting, so it should be installed in dry indoor zones rather than directly in bathroom splash zones. For bathroom use, choose a wall light with a published IP44 or higher rating.

How is it installed?

The Valmera is hard-wired to a 230V mains supply via a standard wall back box and is intended for installation by a qualified electrician. Once mounted, the fixings are concealed behind the alabaster panel.

Will each light look the same as the photo?

The shape, size and finish are consistent, but the alabaster itself is natural Spanish stone and each piece has unique veining, cloudy striations and subtle tonal variation. This is a feature of the natural material rather than a defect.
