Valmere LED Large Linear Alabaster Wall Light - Soft White

The Valmere is a 580mm linear wall light built around a tall rectangular panel of natural Spanish alabaster, framed top and bottom by solid copper end caps in a soft white and brass finish. An integrated 15W LED inside the column casts warm 3000K light through the stone, turning the full length of the alabaster into the light surface rather than directing the beam from a fixed point.

The vertical proportions suit hallways, stairwells, bedside walls and bathroom-adjacent dressing areas where a tall light source adds height to the wall. Installed singly, the Valmere works as a sculptural wall feature; mounted in pairs either side of a mirror, headboard or doorway, the matched columns bring symmetry to the elevation. The 110mm projection holds the fitting clear of the wall without protruding into circulation space.

Each alabaster panel shows different veining, cloud-like marbling and tonal variation, so no two Valmere wall lights look identical when lit. The 85mm width keeps the column slim against the wall while the soft white and brass copper detailing introduces a warm metallic accent at the top and bottom edges. The combination of natural stone and solid copper gives the fitting a substantial physical presence to match its visual scale.

Is the Valmere dimmable?

The integrated LED runs at 15W on 230V mains. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer module used, so please contact us before pairing with a dimmer to confirm suitability for this fitting.

Can it be installed in a bathroom?

No IP rating is published for this fitting, so it should be treated as an indoor wall light for use outside bathroom zones. It suits dressing areas, hallways, bedrooms and living spaces rather than zones close to a shower or bath.

Does the alabaster vary between pieces?

Yes. Each panel is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so the veining, cloud-like marbling and tonal variation differ between individual pieces. The differences become more visible once the LED is lit and the stone is backlit.

How is the alabaster cleaned?

Alabaster is porous and softer than marble. Wipe gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. For more stubborn marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the stone and do not use household sprays, polishes or chemical cleaners.
