Valmere LED Linear Alabaster Wall Light - Soft White & Brass

The Valmere is a 400mm linear wall light built around a slim rectangular panel of natural Spanish alabaster, held within a solid copper frame finished in soft white with brass end caps. An integrated 10W LED behind the stone produces a warm 3000K glow, using the alabaster itself as the diffuser so the light source is hidden and only the lit stone is visible from the room.

The vertical 400mm x 85mm format with a 110mm projection suits hallway walls, bathroom flanks beside a mirror, bedhead positions, and stairwell runs. Installed singly the Valmere reads as a quiet vertical accent; installed in pairs either side of a mirror, doorway or panelled section it frames the architecture and adds symmetry. The slim 85mm width keeps the fitting close to the wall in tighter corridors and stairwells where deeper sconces would be obstructive.

Each alabaster panel is cut from natural Spanish stone, so the veining, cloudy patches and tonal shifts vary between pieces and only become fully visible once the LED is switched on. The soft white painted copper body sits flush against the stone and the brass end caps give a defined top and bottom edge to the vertical form. Hard-wired on 230V mains with an integrated LED, there are no bulbs to change and no visible lamp through the alabaster.

Does it come with a bulb?

The Valmere has an integrated 10W LED rated at 3000K, so no separate bulb is needed and none can be replaced. The LED runs on 230V mains via standard hard-wired installation.

Is it suitable for a bathroom?

The Specification tab does not list an IP rating for this fitting. Without a confirmed IP rating it should be treated as suitable for general indoor use only. Please contact us before installing in a bathroom zone if a wet-rated fitting is required.

Will the alabaster look the same as the photo?

The overall shape, dimensions and colour temperature will match, but the veining pattern and tonal variation in the stone differ between individual pieces. The natural cloudy patches and mineral lines only become fully visible once the LED is switched on.

How is it installed?

The Valmere is a hard-wired wall light running on 230V mains. It should be fitted by a qualified electrician to a standard wall back box. The 110mm projection and 85mm width keep it close to the wall, suiting narrower hallways and stairwells.
