Velorin Large Alabaster LED Wall Light - Soft White & Brass

The Velorin Large is a 750mm vertical wall light built around a tall panel of natural Spanish alabaster set behind a soft white metal shield with a slim brass edge accent. An integrated 18W 3000K LED runs behind the shield, casting warm light upwards and downwards across the alabaster face so the stone itself becomes the lit surface rather than the LED being visible.

At 750mm tall, 180mm wide and projecting 150mm from the wall, the Velorin suits hallway runs, stairwell walls, bedside positions and either side of a fireplace or large mirror. The vertical format works well in rooms with standard 2.4m ceilings where a horizontal wall light would feel cramped, and the relatively narrow width allows it to sit in corridors without intruding into walking space.

The alabaster panel shows mineral clouding and soft tonal variation that only becomes fully visible once the LED is switched on, when the stone glows from within and reveals its internal structure. The soft white metal shield in front of the alabaster blocks direct view of the LED strip, so the eye reads only diffused light and the warmth of the brass strip running along the shield's edge. Concealed fixings keep the front face uninterrupted.

Does the Velorin need a separate bulb?

No. The 18W LED is integrated into the fitting and runs at 3000K warm white. There is no replaceable lamp, so no bulb purchase is required.

Is it dimmable?

The integrated LED runs on 230V mains. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer module used. Please contact us before pairing with a dimmer to confirm compatibility for your installation.

Where does the Velorin work best?

The 750mm vertical format suits hallway walls, stairwells, bedside positions either side of a bed, and flanking a fireplace or large mirror. The 150mm projection means it sits proud of the wall, so it is best avoided in narrow corridors under 900mm wide.

How is the alabaster cleaned?

Alabaster is a porous natural stone. Wipe with a dry, soft microfibre cloth to remove dust. For marks, a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable, but avoid soaking the stone and do not use household sprays, polishes or chemical cleaners on the alabaster surface.
