Veltrix LED Large Round Alabaster Flush Ceiling Light - Soft White & Brushed Brass

The Veltrix is a 600mm round flush ceiling light built from natural Spanish alabaster, with a brushed brass centre cap and an integrated 72W LED running at 3000K. The disc sits just 50mm proud of the ceiling, with a vertical band of alabaster tiles around the rim and a wider tiled face below, so the entire fitting glows as a single warm-white plate when switched on.

The 50mm depth makes the Veltrix suitable for rooms with low or standard ceiling heights where a pendant or semi-flush would intrude on headroom. At 600mm in diameter it suits hallways, landings, larger bedrooms, kitchens and open-plan living areas as a primary ambient source. The 72W LED output covers a substantial floor area, removing the need for additional downlights in many rooms of around 12-18m².

Each alabaster tile is cut from a different section of stone, so the veining, banding and tonal variation differ across the disc and between individual fittings. The rim band of vertical tiles creates a soft halo of light at the perimeter, while the wider face below diffuses the LED across the room. The brushed brass centre cap conceals the fixing point and adds a warm metallic accent against the cool stone.

Is the Veltrix suitable for low ceilings?

Yes. At 50mm in depth the fitting sits flush against the ceiling, making it suitable for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.2m and above where a pendant or semi-flush would feel oppressive. It is a common choice for hallways, landings and bedrooms with restricted height.

What size room does it suit?

The 600mm diameter and 72W LED output make the Veltrix appropriate as a primary ambient source for rooms of approximately 12-18m², depending on the colour of the walls and the level of natural light. In larger spaces it can be paired with secondary lighting such as wall lights or floor lamps.

Does each piece look the same?

No. The disc is built from individually cut tiles of natural Spanish alabaster, so the veining, banding and translucency vary between tiles within a single fitting and between separate fittings. This is a feature of the natural stone.

Is the LED replaceable?

The Veltrix uses an integrated LED rather than a replaceable bulb. Integrated LEDs are typically rated for 25,000-50,000 hours of use. If the LED requires servicing in future, this should be carried out by a qualified electrician.
