Virelle LED Tiered Alabaster Table Lamp - Soft White

The Virelle is a 260mm alabaster table lamp carved from a single block of natural Spanish alabaster into a tiered conical form. Stacked horizontal rings begin at a 190mm-diameter base and step inwards as they rise, narrowing to a small rounded finial at the top. An integrated LED inside the body casts warm 3000K light through the stone, lighting the lamp from within rather than from a visible bulb.

Designed as accent and ambient lighting for sideboards, console tables, bedside tables and shelving, the Virelle works where a soft pool of warm light is wanted without a hard bulb glare. The compact 190mm footprint suits narrow surfaces, and the cordless visual silhouette (cable exits at the rear base) keeps the sculptural profile clean from the front. At 230V mains it plugs into a standard UK socket via the supplied flex.

The soft white alabaster shows pale ivory and honey-toned veining that becomes more visible once the LED is on, with each ring catching light differently as the diameter changes. Because the stone is cut from natural blocks, every Virelle has its own veining pattern and tonal variation. The rounded edges on each tier soften the geometric form and give the lamp a tactile, hand-finished quality rather than a sharp machined look.

Does the Virelle come with a bulb?

The light source is an integrated LED built into the lamp body, so no separate bulb is needed or supplied. The LED runs at 3000K, producing a warm white light through the alabaster.

Is it dimmable?

The integrated LED runs on 230V mains. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer model and the driver used in the lamp, so please contact us before pairing with a dimmer to confirm.

Will the alabaster look the same as the photo?

Each Virelle is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so the veining, honey and ivory tones, and translucency vary between individual pieces. The tiered form and overall soft white colour stay consistent, but the mineral pattern in your lamp will be unique. This is a feature of the natural stone, not a defect.

How is the alabaster cleaned?

Alabaster is porous and softer than marble. Wipe the tiers gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth, working around the rings to lift dust. Avoid household sprays, polishes, solvents and damp cloths, as moisture and chemicals can mark the stone.
