Vireon LED Octagonal Alabaster Chandelier 800mm - Bronze

The Vireon Medium is an 800mm octagonal chandelier built from eight panels of natural Spanish alabaster, held within a solid copper frame finished in bronze. An integrated LED runs inside the ring at 3000K, lighting the alabaster from within so the stone itself becomes the diffuser. Four slender steel suspension cables drop from a hexagonal bronze canopy, with a separate black flex feeding the driver.

At 800mm across, the Vireon Medium suits dining tables, kitchen islands and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above. The 2000mm suspension cable is adjustable on installation, letting the chandelier sit 700-800mm above a dining table or 2.1-2.2m from the floor in a hallway. The horizontal ring spreads light evenly across a circular footprint rather than projecting downward, making it a primary ambient source rather than focused task light.

Each alabaster panel is cut from a different section of stone, so the cloud-like veining and translucency vary across the eight faces. The bronze brackets that clasp the panels at each corner are visible as warm rust-toned accents against the pale stone, giving the piece a defined geometric rhythm when unlit and a continuous glowing band when switched on. Total drop including the canopy is 2100mm, and the integrated driver runs on standard 230V mains.

What ceiling height is needed?

The Vireon Medium has an overall drop of 2100mm (100mm canopy plus 2000mm cable) before adjustment. The cable can be shortened on installation, but the chandelier sits best in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above, particularly when hung over a dining table at the typical 700-800mm above the surface.

Does the alabaster vary between pieces?

Yes. Each of the eight panels is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so the veining, cloud-like marbling and translucency differ between panels and between individual chandeliers. This is a feature of the natural material.

Is the LED replaceable?

The LED is integrated into the ring at 3000K on 230V mains and is not designed for end-user replacement. Integrated LED modules typically last well beyond 25,000 hours of use.

How is the alabaster cleaned?

Alabaster is porous and softer than marble. Wipe gently with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. Avoid household sprays, polishes or chemical cleaners, and do not soak the stone — a barely-damp cloth with distilled water is acceptable for stubborn marks.
