Zareon LED Medium Linear Alabaster Chandelier - Soft White

The Zareon Medium is a 1.2m linear pendant light built around a single cylinder of natural Spanish alabaster, 100mm in diameter, suspended horizontally on two fine steel cables. An integrated 28W LED runs the length of the stone and emits a warm 3000K glow, with the alabaster itself acting as the diffuser rather than an internal acrylic or glass shade.

Sized for dining tables of 1.4-2m, smaller kitchen islands and rectangular breakfast bars, the Zareon Medium gives directed downlight along the surface beneath it without a heavy visual mass overhead. The 1500mm cable drop is adjustable on installation, allowing the pendant to be set 700-800mm above a dining table or 750-900mm above an island worktop. The slim cable suspension keeps sightlines clear across open-plan rooms.

Each alabaster cylinder is cut from a single block, so the mineral veining, translucency and tonal variation differ between pieces. Unlit, the stone reads as a cool, softly mottled grey-white tube; lit, the internal veining and pale amber pockets become visible as the LED passes through the stone. The minimal cable suspension and discreet metal end-caps keep the focus on the alabaster itself rather than the hardware.

What size table or island does the Zareon Medium suit?

At 1200mm long, this pendant is sized for dining tables of approximately 1.4-2m and for smaller kitchen islands or breakfast bars of similar length. For islands over 2.2m, the larger Zareon model gives better visual proportion.

Does each alabaster cylinder look the same?

No. Each cylinder is cut from a single block of natural Spanish alabaster, so the veining, translucency and tonal variation differ between individual pieces. This is a feature of the natural stone, not a defect.

How is the drop height set?

The two fine steel suspension cables are 1500mm long and adjustable on installation. The cylinder typically sits 700-800mm above a dining table or 750-900mm above an island worktop, depending on ceiling height.

How is the alabaster cleaned?

Alabaster is porous and softer than marble. Wipe with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. Avoid household sprays, polishes and chemical cleaners, and do not use damp cloths repeatedly on the same area, as the stone can absorb moisture.
